DUBOIS – Behind a balanced scoring attack, the Brookville Raiders turned back a determined Brockway Rover squad 52-43 Saturday night in the championship game of the DuBois Holiday Tournament.

Nate Shaffer’s ¾ court 3-pointer that banked in after being taken from the opposite foul line gave Brockway a 23-22 halftime lead.

Brookville, though, shook off the dream shot and took a 35-34 lead at the end of three quarters before outscoring the Rovers 17-9 in the fourth quarter.

Joe Galbraith led Brookville with 13 point including three 3-pointers, Gabe Wondering added 12 points, six assists and four steals and Chad Brocious added 10 points.

Mark Shannon led Brockway with 14 points, and Lucas Swintek added 10.

NOTES – Shannon and Swintek were All-Tournament selections for Brockway, while Galbraith and Brocious were All-Tourney choices for DuBois.
