COUDERSPORT – When the Coudersport Lady Falcons are at their best it usually happens on the defensive end of the floor.

Friday night, Coudersport was at its best holding Northern Potter to 11 first-half points on its way to a 55-33 victory over the Lady Panthers in the title game of the Coudersport Holiday Tournament.

While the Lady Falcons’ defense was tenacious, Kristy Kamper provided the offense for Coudersport (7-2) scoring a game-high 24 points including 15 in the first half helping Coudy to a 30-11 halftime lead.

Kamper was the only player in the game in double digits. Kayla Bohn added nine points for Coudersport, and Brittany Rounds led Northern Potter with nine tallies.

Both teams begin North Tier League play Wednesday with Coudersport visiting Austin and Northern Potter traveling to Smethport.
