BRADFORD – Bradford used an 18-0 first-quarter run to fuel a 73-36 D9 League win over
visiting DuBois Friday night. “Our pressure defense created a lot of turnovers,” Bradford head coach Dave Fuhrman
said. “We converted the turnovers into points. We wanted to jump on them early and take control of the game. The
guys did a good job executing the game plan.” The Owls (10-4 overall, 6-0 D9 League), ranked second overall in District 9 by the RRR
Roadhouse D9Sports.com rankings, led 26-8 at the end of the first quarter and 49-20 at halftime. Senior center Ben Lanich led the way for Bradford with 21 points and nine rebounds. “Ben was dominant tonight,” Fuhrman said. “We did a good job of getting him the ball
inside.” Ryan LaBrozzi added 15 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for Bradford, and 10 Owls
found the scoreboard. Brant Davis led DuBois (0-13, 0-4) with 10 points, while Jordan LaBue had seven. Bradford returns to action Tuesday with a big D9 League game at Elk County Catholic. “We are playing good basketball and so is Elk County Catholic,” Fuhrman said. “It
should be an outstanding game Tuesday. BRADFORD 73, DUBOIS 36 Score by Quarters DuBois
