Ridgway breaks 32-game losing streak |

RIDGWAY – Emily Mitchell and Kathy Shirey combined to score 20 of Ridgway’s 31 points helping the Lady Elkers break a 32-game losing streak with a 31-28 win over winless Curwensville Wednesday night in Ridgway. Ridgway (1-14 overall, 1-5 AML South) last won 41-37 over visiting Brockway Dec. 13, 2006. Curwensville, meanwhile, dropped to 0-13 overall and 0-5 in the AML South a year after winning the division and going 21-8 with a second-place District 9 Class AA finish and a PIAA playoff berth.
