Courier-Express BROOKVILLE – Jordan LaBue scored a game-high 20 points to lead DuBois to its first win of the season 61-56 at Brookville Wednesday night. LaBue scored 15 of his 20 points in the second half helping DuBois (1-14 overall, 1-4 D9 League) rally from a 38-31 halftime deficit. The Beavers still trailed by three points, 50-47, midway through the fourth quarter when John Hartzfeld tied the game on an old-school 3-point play when he was fouled making a layup. That started a 7-0 run for DuBois which gave the Beavers a 54-50 lead they never relinquished. With the loss, Brookville drops to 8-6 overall and 3-4 in the D9 League on the season. |
