BRADFORD – Ryan LaBrozzi and Ben Lanich each had double-doubles to lead Bradford to a 71-43 win over Brookville in D9 League action Friday night at the Owls nest.

LaBrozzi scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Lanich added 18 points and 12 boards. Senior Randy Confer narrowly missed joining them with 11 points and nine rebounds.

“Lanich, LaBrozzi and Confer dominated the game offensively and on the glass,” Bradford head coach Dave Fuhrman said. “It was good to bounded back with a win after the tough loss to Elk Tuesday.”

The Owls (11-5 overall, 7-1 D9 League) also got an inspirational lift, as senior Ben Walter saw his first action of the season after suffering a concussion during football season in early September that forced him to miss the rest of football and the first month and a half of basketball. He got into the scoring column with two free throws.

“It was great to see Ben back out competing,” Fuhrman said. “I think he can help us down the stretch.”

In all, 11 Bradford players got into the scoring column, while Justin Smith led Brookville (8-7, 3-5) with 10 points.
