Jessica Wilson scores 1,000th career point for Coudersport

COUDERSPORT – Jessica Wilson became the sixth player in Coudersport girls’ basketball history and the second this season to score 1,000 career points when she went over the mark in the Lady Falcons 66-32 win over Otto-Eldred Thursday night in Coudersport.

Wilson, who came into the game needing 10 points to reach 1,000, got to the mark on on a fast break feed from Karli Duffee late in the first half. She finished the game with 15 points and 1,005 career points.

Coudersport (14-2 overall, 7-0 NTL), the top ranked team in District 9 in the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com rankings, wasted little time disposing of Otto-Eldred (4-13, 1-6).

The Lady Falcons led 24-5 at the end of the first quarter and 49-14 at halftime.

Karli Duffee led the way with 19 points, while Kristy Kamper, who went over 1,000 career tallies last Wednesday, added 13 points giving her 1,055 on the season moving her within 11 points of Kristin Zimmerman for fourth all time in school history. Kamper added six assists.

Justine Wilkins led Otto-Eldred with 13 points.
