ST. MARYS – Brett Quiggle hit six 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 28 points leading St. Marys to a 64-46 non-league win over visiting Bellefonte Monday night at the “Dutch Oven” in St. Marys. Point guard Matt Guido added 11 points and 10 assists for the double-double, while Levi Welder tallied 13 points, eight blocked shots and seven rebounds. The Mulcahy brothers of Shealin (12 points) and Brendan (11 rebounds) also had solid games, while Quiggle added seven rebounds and four steals. St. Marys (8-10) slowly pulled away from the winless Red Raiders (0-16) leading 14-9 at the end of the first quarter and 29-17 at halftime. Zach Tressler led Bellefonte with 12 points, while Josh Davis, coming off the bench in the fourth quarter, scored 11. St. Marys returns to action Friday when it travels to DuBois for a D9 League contest. ST.
