By Blaise O'Connor OLEAN, NY – The combination of Sam Moore and Jacob Houseknecht led Olean to an 84-60 win over visiting Bradford Tuesday night in an interstate rivalry game in Olean. Moore scored 16 of his game-high 25 points in the first half, while Houseknecht scored 15 of his 19 points in the second half to pace the Huskies to the win. Olean led 27-25 late in the first half and then closed the half on a 14-0 run to take a 41-25 halftime lead. Moore then finished off a 17-0 run with a 3-point at the start of the third quarter making it 44-24. Bradford (12-6), though, came back behind Ryan LaBrozzi and Ben Lanich and cut the lead to eight late in the quarter. But Olean sealed the game by outscoring the Owls 26-12 in the fourth quarter. LaBrozzi and Lanich each had 16 points for Bradford. The loss denied Bradford head coach Dave Fuhrman his 299th career win and a shot at getting No. 300 at home Friday night vs. Punxsutawney. The earliest Fuhrman cane secure No. 300 is next Tuesday at St. Marys. NOTES – Bradford won the junior varsity game 55-42.
