NEW BETHLEHEM – Punxsutawney used a fast start to down Redbank Valley 64-32 in the opener for both teams Monday night in New Bethlehem.

The Chucks broke out to a 21-8 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back taking a 33-19 halftime lead and a 46-22 lead after three quarters.

Corey Neal led Punxsutawney with 19 points including a pair of three-pointers and five steals, while Tommy Bush and Jacob Stumpf each had 11 tallies. Bush added eight rebounds and Stumpf seven boards.

Doug Bish paced Redbank Valley with eight points.
