PUNXSUTAWNEY – Punxsutawney built a 14-point halftime lead on its way to a 51-41 win over Johnstown Thursday night in Punxsutawney.

The Lady Chucks used a 15-6 second-quarter advantage to take a 32-18 halftime lead and then played Johnstown even in the third quarter before being outscored 14-10 in the final eight minutes.

Jenna Reitz led Punxsy with 14 points and six steals, while Amber Fye had 11 points and Allie Miller 11 points. Megan McCully added six points and 10 rebounds, and Amanda Toven had five tallies and eight boards .Reitz hit four triples for the Lady Chucks with Fye added two.
