DUKE CENTER – Kane outscored Otto-Eldred 9-0 in overtime to pull out a 67-58 come-from-behind win over the Lady Terrors in non-conference girls’ basketball action Monday night at Otto-Eldred. The Lady Wolves trailed 37-27 at halftime, 46-40 at the end of three quarters and by 13 in the fourth quarter but rallied to force overtime and then shutout Otto in the extra session. “I’m glad to pull this one out in overtime,” Kane head coach Dave Kiehl said. “We didn’t play well the first half or really for the better part of the game. Give Otto credit. They were hot shooting, especially in the second quarter when it went 10 of 17 (from the floor). But we had the momentum going into overtime and outscored them 9-0 in the OT.” Three Kane players recorded double-doubles led by 15 points and 13 rebounds from Bree Bergman. Natalie Kossack added 15 points and 11 boards, and Chelsea Mague had 13 points and 10 assists. Justine Wilkins had a great game for Otto-Eldred with 25 points. “She had 21 points in the first half,” Kahle said. “She couldn’t miss. Andrea (Saquin) held her to four points in the second half.” Saquin chipped in 12 points on the offensive end for Kane, while Jordan Beckwith added 12 points for Otto-Eldred.
