SHEFFIELD – Amanda Craker had 14 points and a 18 rebounds and Caryn Copley netted 12 points to lead Sheffield to a come-from-behind 46-38 win over Curwensville Saturday afternoon.

 

A big second quarter, keyed by Tess Bloom's seven points, gave the Lady Tide (0-9) a 23-17 halftime lead that it extended to double figures before the Lady Wolverines (4-8) narrowed to 29-27 going to the final period.

 

Sheffield then rallied for 19 points to prevail in spite of making only 13 of 35 free throws.

 

Bloom finished with a game-high 20 points, and Hannah Walls chipped in with 11 for Curwensville, which saw two starters foul out early in the fourth quarter and was charged with 27 fouls.
