PORT ALLEGANY – Port Allegany outscored Oswayo Valley 37-18 in the second half en route to a 66-39 win over the visiting Green Wave in a key North Tier League boys’ game Thursday night.

The Gators (11-5 overall, 8-2 NTL) won for the seventh straight time and remained within a game in the loss column of first-place Cameron County (7-1) in the chase for the NTL title. The teams split their regular-season meetings and don’t play again in the regular campaign.

Oswayo Valley (12-5, 7-3), meanwhile, saw its three-game win streak come to an end. The Green Wave have still won 7 of 10.

Lucas Kline paced Port Allegany with 17 points, while Bryce Healy added 13 and Greg Gustin 12.

C.J. Sebastian led Oswayo Valley with 12 points and Orion Bernard added 10. Leading scorer Joe Carson (14.3 ppg) was held to six points in large part due to foul trouble, and fourth-leading scorer Camden Nolan (10.1 ppg) was limited to just two.
