WEST SUNBURY – East Forest’s Kelsey Rini hauled in her 1,000th rebound and became the first player in school history with 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds when she had nine boards to in a 63-41 loss at Moniteau Tuesday night.
Rini now has 1,002 career rebounds and 1,017 career points. She passed 1,000 career points last Thursday.
Moniteau’s Maura McCaslin led the way with 18 points, and Jenna McCorry added 16.
Ashley Oliver, Erica Long and Nicole Geyer each scored eight to lead East Forest, while Rini, who fouled out, had six points.
Moniteau led by just four, 15-11, at the end of the first quarter but outscored East Forest 35-15 in the middle two quarters including 19-6 in the second quarter to take control of the game.
