DUKE CENTER Whitney Crosby scored 10 of her game-high 25 points in the fourth quarter, and Austin made all 14 of its free throws in the final stanza to rally from a seven-point third quarter deficit to defeat Otto-Eldred 57-45 Monday at Otto-Eldred.
Thanks to Justine Wilkins, Otto-Eldred led for most of the game. Wilkins scored 20 of her team-high 21 points in the second and third quarters to help the Lady Terrors build a 39-32 advantage following a 3-point basket by Jocelyn Cochran with 1:15 remaining in the third quarter.
But Austin outscored Otto-Eldred 25-6 the rest of the way.
Hilary Gordnier added 10 points and Emily Wambaugh 11, all from the free-throw line, for Austin. Wambaugh chipped in eight rebounds, and Casey Stuckey had 10 boards.
Austin returns to action at Cameron County Thursday, while Otto-Eldred travels to Northern Potter Thursday.
