| By Blaise O'Connor PORT ALLEGANY - Following a close first half, Coudersport outscored Otto Eldred 27-7 in the third quarter, helping the Lady Falcons to a 60-37 win over Otto Eldred on Friday evening in the District 9 Class consolation game at Port Allegany. Otto Eldred, thanks to six first quarter points by Taylor Palmer, led 12-5 after one quarter. The Lady Falcons didn't get their first field goal, until 8:44 were played. None the less, the Lady Falcons kept the game close at the free throw line and trailed 18-17 at halftime. Then, Tori Brown, Jenna Matzinger & Hannah Fink took over the game. Brown and Matzinger each had seven third quarter points, while Fink had 11, as Coudersport built a 44-25 lead after three quarters. Brown & Matzinger each had 17 points for Coudersport, while Fink added 15. Taylor Thomas led the Lady Terrors with 14 points. Couderport (19-7) and Otto Eldred (18-8) will next play in the opening round of the PIAA Playoffs next weekend.
