THE ALL-AMERICAN AWARDS & ENGRAVING MONDAY EVENING QUARTERBACK SHOW DEBUTS ON CLARION’S C-93 RADIO
Talk show broadcast live from RRR Roadhouse in the Clarion Mall
CLARION – The All-American Awards & Engraving Monday Evening Quarterback Show made its debut Monday on C-93 Radio, 92.7 FM in Clarion.
The show, which will be broadcast live from 6-7 p.m. each Monday from the RRR Roadhouse in the Clarion Mall through the end of the high school football season in December, is hosted by Chris Rossetti and Pat Kahle.
"We’re very excited to be able to give local football fans another day of football coverage," Rossetti said. "This is a natural progression on C-93 for football fans. Friday nights they get high school football, Saturdays they get Clarion University football and Sundays they get Pittsburgh Steelers football. This show will tie all three of those days together while also giving fans an in-depth look at Pitt and Penn State football as well."
The show, which will also feature C-93 football personalities Mike Kalinowski and Bob "The Governor" Dunkle, will have a four quarter format to it.
The first quarter will feature KSAC and District 9 high school football including player and coach interviews and the naming of the KSAC Player of the Week.
The second quarter will be an in-depth look at Clarion University football under first-year head coach Jay Foster.
Pitt, Penn State and other major Division I college football programs will be the focus of the third quarter.
The fourth quarter will be devoted to the Super Bowl XL Champion Pittsburgh Steelers.
In between the second and third quarters will be a halftime show that includes a "Feature Band of the Week" and C-93’s "Call of the Week".
"Clarion County is such a big football area that focusing on just one aspect of the football weekend won’t be fair," Rossetti said. "This way, we should have something for everyone. We also are very excited to have the ‘Feature Band of the Week’ segment. The halftime band show is such a big part of the high school football scene that we believe honoring a different band each week fits right in with the show."
