EMPORIUM – Cameron County built a 36-16 halftime lead and then held off a scrappy Galeton team to earn a 64-57 win Friday night at Cameron County.

The Tigers got back into the game by outscoring Cameron County 18-12 in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 48-34 at the end of three quarters. Galeton then went on an 8-point run in the fourth quarter to close the gap even further before Cameron County hit 7 of 8 free throws to seal the win.

John Dresser paced Cameron County with 21 points, while Cash Grimone had eight points and 10 rebounds. Doug Petty added 14 points and nine assists, Drew Tompkins 13 points and Casey Strahl two points and seven steals.

Geoffry Procter paced Galeton with 21 points. Thomas Brander added 10.
