KARNS CITY – Tyler Callihan had himself a night to remember in Karns City’s 60-58 win over visiting Keystone Friday night. Callihan won the game on a layup with one second left on the same night that he reached the 1,000-career point plateau. The senior, the leading scorer in District 9 last season who is averaging 25.5 ppg this year, needed 11 points to reach 1,000 in his career. He got that and much more scoring a game-high 26 points marking the fourth time in six games he has gone over the 25-point mark this season. He also added 11 rebounds, four blocks and three assists. Eight of his points came in the fourth quarter. Mark Ferguson added 13 points and Josh Behrens 10 for the Gremlins (5-1). Dan Ferringer led Keystone (4-4) with 16 points, while Sam Swartzfager added 13 and Derek Duffee 12.
